About us
Mobile Carpets & Flooring Shop is part of Floor Coverings Local, a family-run flooring business with over 30 years' experience.
A flooring shop that comes to your door
We're a fully mobile flooring business. Instead of high street showrooms, we bring our carpets, vinyl and laminate to customers' homes across South and West Yorkshire.
Without shop premises to pay for, we can price below the high street. And because you see every sample in your own rooms, it's far easier to get the choice right.
We look after the whole job — advice, measuring, floor preparation, fitting and aftercare.

So happy with floor coverings local! Had all downstairs (kitchen, hall, w/c & living room) fully laminated last week. Took the fitter 2 full days, he worked so hard! Absolute pleasure to have in our home and over the moon with the results and the price! Would 100% recommend.

Brilliant service, very quick and easy from making our first enquiry to getting a quote and getting it fitted. We had a full house fitted with both carpet and laminate. Everything was explained to us clearly and no hidden charges. The day of the fitting went very smoothly. The fitters arrived as arranged and were hardworking and got the whole house done very quickly to a very high standard. I would highly recommended floor coverings local.
